I recently had the honor of being part of Danscend's panel on anxiety and the arts. Danscend's mission to bring mental wellness to the forefront of dance training and I was honored to share my insight and experiences both as an artist and mental health advocate. We chatted about all things anxiety and performance and my fellow panelist included the delightfully witty actor, educator and psychologist, Simon Ward.
